Responsibilities
Tasks
Operate X-ray, radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment, computerized tomography (CT) scanners, mammography units and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scanners
Operate radiation therapy equipment
Operate radiation detection equipment to acquire data for use by nuclear medicine physicians in the diagnosis of disease
Record and process results of procedures
Apply radiation protection measures
Record and process patient data
Provide appropriate care and monitoring of the patient during the examination
